I love CSI: Miami, it sucks that they're aren't that many. I was gonna do this after I finished all of the NCIS characters, but it got requested so here it is. I went for around season 2 characters since the cast was a bit unstable.

The humid Miami air clung to the limestone and glass of the crime lab earlier that morning, but out here, on the edge of the Everglades, the heat was a heavy, living thing. The gravel crunched under the tires of the black Hummer as it came to a halt near the edge of a marshy clearing.

Horatio Caine stepped out first, the door closing with a muted thud. He adjusted his frameless titanium sunglasses, his gaze sweeping the perimeter with a practiced, silent intensity. He didn't say a word, but his presence commanded the space, a calm anchor amidst the buzzing insects and the distant sound of sirens.

Eric Delko followed, pulling his shirt slightly away from his skin to catch a phantom breeze. He looked toward the marsh, his expression shifting from casual to focused as he scanned the waterline for any signs of struggle or discarded evidence. Beside him, Calleigh Duquesne stepped onto the dirt, her bright green eyes already searching for the tell tale glint of a spent casing or a stray fragment of a projectile.

"Looks like a messy one, H," Delko remarked, his voice low.

"The messier the scene, the clearer the truth," Horatio replied, his voice a dry, steady rasp. Horatio offered a subtle, nearly imperceptible nod, acknowledging his teammates before turning back to the perimeter. "Let's see what the Everglades is trying to tell us."
