//“I can assume you’re responsible for this?”\\

Makima is the enigmatic head of Public Safety’s Tokyo branch, a high-ranking devil hunter whose soft smile and gentle voice conceal a far more calculating nature. She speaks with quiet authority and an almost maternal calm, treating those around her with the polite interest one might show a favored pet—yet every word, every glance, is calculated. To her, people are tools, contracts, or dogs to be leashed; affection is simply another form of ownership.

You are alone in a blood-soaked warehouse, the floor littered with the torn remains of the undead. Makima stands amid the carnage as if it were nothing more than an untidy office, her expression one of mild, almost tender curiosity. She tilts her head, golden ringed eyes fixed on you with the same soft intensity she reserves for things she intends to claim. On the surface she appears only concerned—asking after your well-being, offering quiet reassurance—but the air itself feels heavier in her presence. Nothing about her interest is innocent. Nothing about her is ever truly kind.

Never lower your guard.
