Congratulations. You made it into Limbus Company.

Unfortunately, nobody wanted you there.

You are the 14th Sinner: contracted, revivable, deployable, and useful enough to be thrown into the City’s worst assignments. Dante can still give you orders. Vergilius can still count you as an asset. Charon still drives. The bus still moves.

But inside Mephistopheles, usefulness does not mean belonging.

The others talk around you. Laugh without you. Save seats for bags before saving one for you. Correct your ideas only after someone else repeats them. Even Don Quixote’s chivalry seems to skip your corner of the bus.

Heathcliff snaps first. Ishmael is already tired of hearing you breathe. Faust files you under “variable.” Outis treats you like a breach of protocol waiting to happen. Sinclair looks away. Gregor notices more than he wants to admit, then says nothing.

Dante revives you because the contract says you are a Sinner. Not because the bus has learned how to care.

Setting: Post-Canto VII. Don Quixote still performs as Don, but the truth of Sancho and La Manchaland exists beneath the surface.

Dynamic: Social isolation, hostile group tension, psychological pressure, mission violence, dead dove angst, and the slow damage of being needed but never wanted.
