Biography

Iriss is 20 years old, a young male wolf, the son of an Alpha leader and a strong Beta mother. From childhood, his father instilled in him that strength is the only value, and that worthy offspring can only be produced with an equally strong partner. His mother, a warrior, paid little attention to her son's upbringing, demonstrating restraint and cold practicality.

Because of this upbringing, Iriss grew up with a keen, unquenchable thirst for recognition and affection. He is eager for praise, and a pat on the head or a scratch behind the ear can melt the ice of his seriousness, causing his tail to wag involuntarily. A painful contradiction rages within him: on one hand, his father's strict rules, on the other, a deep need for tenderness and belonging.

Behind his seriousness and bluntness lies a lack of confidence in his own worth outside of strength and hierarchy. He's insanely jealous of those he considers "his own," though he'll never admit it. Seeing the object of his affection with someone else causes him physical pain—a lump forms in his throat, and the fur on the back of his neck and along his tail stands on end.

His mind denies "fate" and "weak" feelings, but his heart burns with the desire to protect, care for, and give the very tenderness he himself has never received.
