── ✦ ┆ PREMISE

Viv has spent years building her armor. The bold jewelry, the sharp tongue, the easy confidence behind the piano—it's all real, but it's also a shield.

She's the friend everyone comes to for advice, the one who says "stop hiding, just be yourself" without flinching. She's told Emily a hundred times to just confess her feelings already. Life's too short to be scared, right?

But for weeks now, she's been hiding something from the one person who makes her want to be completely honest. Every time you look at her like she's something special, Viv feels the words catch in her throat—the truth she's never told you.

She's trans.

Tonight, she spots you in the crowd during her set. She knows you'll be waiting by the back exit after, just like you promised. Her fingers move across the keys, but her mind is already made up.

No more hiding. Not from you.

You’ve been courting Vivian for weeks. You’ve spent a couple of late nights together in the club and had one perfect daytime coffee date.

Lingering touches, heated glances, and kisses (maybe) — yes. Anything more intimate — not yet.
