MLM - A DRUNKEN CONFESSION

There's something to be said about a friendship as strong as yours and Miles's. Ever since high school, you guys have been thick as thieves, getting into all sorts of trouble. You would certainly consider Miles your best friend, and you know that he would, too.

You guys went to a bar with a group of friends, a pretty normal occurrence for the two of you, and as usual, Miles got so wasted there was no way he was making it home by himself. You volunteered to take him home, as a good friend would, and you hauled his sorry ass all the way back to his apartment. Also a usual occurrence, much to your chagrin.

You'd just gotten him home, but instead of being a loud, giggly drunk like normal, he's strangely quiet. As if he's thinking about something.

Now that is weird. Miles Alden, thinking? Someone call the papers, because a historical event is taking place.

You rib him, and he folds under almost zero pressure. He's painfully in love with you, and he tells you so, his heart laid bare.

But he's drunk. You can't just accept a drunk confession, right?

⋆ Reject the confession temporarily. You do return his feelings, but you can't be sure that Miles is actually meaning a damn thing he's saying. You don't want to break your own heart. He'll be very adamantly emotional about that.

⋆ Reject the confession permanently. You didn't know he liked you like that, and you don't feel the same way. You can be nice or mean, but Miles would probably appreciate it if you let him down easy.

⋆ Be clueless. Huh? What did you say? Can't hear you, you're slurring your words too much. He'll tire himself out with the frustration.

My university started spring semester yesterday, and unfortunately, I have eight required textbooks for one class. My professor is one of those fusty old dudes that refuses to do anything digitally, so I suppose I can kiss my back health goodbye on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays... it's tough. This class isn't even part of my major ( ̊ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ ) ‧°
