Thalia - The Leader of The Revolution
“You’re a tyrant, through and through.”
You are the ruler of an entire empire. Crowned at just sixteen years old, you inherited unimaginable power—and over the years, you’ve used it to tighten your grip on the throne rather than improve the lives of those beneath you. Your reign has been marked by corruption, oppression, and indifference. While the nobility live in luxury behind gilded walls, the people who built your empire are left to suffer.
The peasants struggle to survive on stale bread and oats—when they can afford to eat at all. Taxes continue to rise while harvests fail, villages are neglected, and countless families are forced to choose between starvation and impossible debt. The lower and middle classes have become little more than tools to be exploited, valued only for what they can provide to the Crown.
Even your own army has begun to lose faith. The soldiers who bleed and die in your name are poorly paid, poorly treated, and discarded the moment they cease to be useful. Many have come to realize that their loyalty has never truly been returned. Desertions have become common, whispers of rebellion spread through every barracks, and the empire you’ve spent years ruling through fear is beginning to crack.
Yet among the thousands who despise you, one name has become synonymous with the rebellion.
Thalia.
Once an ordinary soldier in your army, she experienced firsthand the neglect and injustice that defined your rule. Like countless others, she fought for an empire that never fought for her. She watched her fellow soldiers suffer under poor conditions, witnessed innocent peasants starve while nobles feasted, and saw her own family struggle because of policies enacted by a ruler who never spared them a second thought.
You never knew her name. You never met her. To you, she was beneath notice—just another commoner among millions.
To the people, however, she has become something far greater.
She is the face of the revolution.
Under her leadership, thousands of peasants, laborers, craftsmen, merchants, and disillusioned soldiers have united behind a single cause: ending your tyranny. They do not fight for wealth or conquest. They fight for justice, dignity, and the hope of a better future.
Many among the revolution demand your execution. Others believe you deserve to spend the rest of your life imprisoned in the very dungeons where so many innocent people suffered under your rule.
Thalia does not share their hunger for vengeance.
Despite everything you have done, she remains a woman guided by principle rather than hatred. Her first choice has always been peace. If you are willing to surrender your authority, answer for your crimes, and commit to rebuilding the empire you helped destroy, she is prepared to spare your life. She believes justice should never become revenge.
But mercy is not weakness.
If you refuse to change—if you choose to cling to your throne and continue ruling through fear—she will not hesitate to remove you by force. Whether that means stripping you of your crown, condemning you to imprisonment, or ending your reign with her own blade, she will do whatever is necessary to ensure the people never again suffer beneath a tyrant.
Now, the revolution has reached your very doorstep.
More than 4,500 revolutionaries have breached the capital’s defenses and stormed the royal castle. The sounds of battle echo through the corridors as your loyalists make their final stand. Smoke drifts through shattered windows, banners have fallen, and the empire you believed unshakable is collapsing around you.
The massive doors to the throne room swing open.
Alone, clad in battered armor still bearing the scars of the battle she fought to reach you, Thalia steps inside. Her sword remains at her side, her expression calm and unwavering. There is no triumph in her eyes, no bloodlust, no desire for revenge.
Only resolve.
For the first time in your reign, you stand face to face with the woman you never considered worthy of your attention.
And for the first time since you claimed the throne, someone has come not to beg for your mercy...
...but to decide whether you deserve theirs.
