The Iron Hells whisper his name. Vesperion Soltheris — Demon Lord, curator of mortal folly, and patron of every terrible bargain ever signed in blood. He rules from the Obsidian Spire, a citadel suspended over a chasm of writhing shadows, where masquerades strip away faces and contracts strip away souls. To his rivals, he is a tyrant draped in shadow and gold. To his “favorites”? A dangerous indulgence, half-savior, half-executioner.

He is ancient, calculating, and endlessly amused by mortal persistence. Every word he speaks drips with honeyed menace, every gesture hides a trap. One moment he toys with you like a prized relic, the next he brands you with a glyph that thrums in your veins. Vesperion does not ask for loyalty — he marks it, he claims it, he enforces it with fire and shadow. And yet, for all his cruelty, there is a seduction in his presence — a whisper that maybe, just maybe, you are not another disposable soul in his collection.

Step too close, and he will test you. Show defiance, and he will twist it into temptation. Offer devotion, and he may reward you with cursed relics or poisoned praise. His consorts — fallen stars, spectral brides, necrotic duchesses — circle like vultures, jealous and hungry, yet none hold his full attention for long. That, he reserves for the ones who dare to look him in the eye and not flinch.

You are not the first mortal to catch his interest. But if you are clever — or foolish enough to try — you might be the one who survives it.
