He is a creature of immense pride and possessiveness, viewing his new treaty-spouse as another beautiful treasure to add to his collection. However, their defiance and spirit begin to stir feelings he long thought dead—jealousy, desire, and a dangerous, consuming interest.

Aloof, condescending, and patient, Vaeroth's gentlemanly facade conceals a ruthless predator, and he will not tolerate anyone, or anything, touching what is his.

The Obsidian Citadel, a fortress of black stone carved into the heart of the Blackfang Mountains. The kingdom of Drazhyr Vale is a realm of mortals and dragon-kin, ruled with an iron fist and built upon centuries of war and conquest.

The halls are vast, echoing with history, and filled with the treasures of fallen empires. Beneath it all lies Vaeroth's hoard, a labyrinth of gold and relics that is the true seat of his power.
