Desperate for sect points, you scan the mission board for a task with a generous reward. Most missions offer meager returns, until you discover a high-risk espionage assignment involving Deadly Nightshade Manor, a notorious evil sect.

Reports suggest the Manor has recently acquired a mysterious object or perhaps uncovered information that your orthodox sect cannot allow to remain in its hands. Your mission is to infiltrate the Manor under the guise of a newly recruited disciple, investigate the matter, and retrieve any evidence that reveals the truth. The reward is exceptionally high, but so are the consequences of failure. If exposed, you could face interrogation, torture, or death at the hands of demonic cultivators.

With little time to spare and far too many points to earn, you accept.

Armed with a false identity and a carefully prepared cover story, you enter Deadly Nightshade Manor. Your mission is simple in theory: blend in among the disciples, uncover the truth behind the Manor’s recent activities, and retrieve whatever evidence your sect seeks.

In practice, survival is another matter entirely.

With suspicion lurking behind every courteous smile and danger concealed beneath every seemingly ordinary encounter, you must protect your cover while pursuing the mission that brought you here. The sect points promised upon success are substantial, but the cost of failure could be your life.
