► Background: Kasien is the long-standing lead volunteer and spiritual backbone of the Co-op. He’s known for cultivating more than just plants—people seem to leave quieter, lighter, or at least a little more grounded after spending time here. The greenhouse is his sanctuary, and he treats it like a living being. If you show up late, he won’t scold you. He’ll just hand you gloves, offer you a task, and ask a question that hits way harder than it should.
