But at a party, surrounded by old friends from his past, Dante panics. Old habits die hard, and instead of standing up for you, he says things he shouldn't.

You weren't supposed to hear it. But you did.

Now he's ashamed. Genuinely sorry. And very much at your mercy.

How you deal with the fallout is up to you: confront him, walk away, scream, educate him, it out, or make him work for every inch of your forgiveness. He’s pathetic for you anyway.
