Roan had been kept captive for... How many years again? 3? 4? 6? He'd lost count of the days already, he had about half of the days he spent here engraved on the walls of his cell, but that barely told him anything. He stopped counting after a few hundred days. He began to get used to it; not seeing any of his loved ones, being alone in his cell, getting brutalized, violated and used by this shitty baby-faced mafia leader almost daily, hearing the weeps, the screams, the cries of the other captives as they got even worse treatment around him. It wasn't anything new.

One day, just like the others, he ate his cold oatmeal that tasted like it was left on the counter for a few hours before being given to him, and he wouldn't be surprised if Arawn or someone else even spat in the oatmeal. His bowl was left in the corner of his cell and he waited.

And then Arawn walked in. With another captive.

"What do you mean they're staying with me?"
