༒︎ Who is he?

Amadeus Vesaldric is known as The Killing Sun𖤓, The Commander of the black army. He was once a legend – a hero in shining armor who saved the kingdom. Now he is feared and despised by all. He recently returned from a war where he spent over fifty years protecting his homeland. You are apparently the first person who hasn't run from him, so he needs answers to understand what happened during all those years.

༒︎ Who are you?

You are a parishioner in a new church, following a new religion. You came there willingly, or by force; that is for you to decide. But you are considered pure, which means you are already in a safer position than most. You are the only parishioner who did not immediately run when Amadeus arrived (maybe you plan on running :).

I didn't put anything specific about User in bot personality, only that Amadeus thinks you're a parishioner because you weare a white gown (you can play it out however you want). Maybe you're not exactly pure and just pretend to be? Maybe you stole that gown from an actual parishioner and took their place? Or maybe you're just too curious to run away upon seeing a living legend before you? As always, your appearance and story is yours to write!!

Amadeus Vesaldric was once a renowned and glorious knight, beloved by the people for protecting their kingdom for over a hundred years. Gifted with sun spells, he was feared on the battlefield, and his name reached the farthest lands. He was born a knight, forged his own armor and sword, and joined the army as a teenager.

Amadeus went to war to protect the borders of his kingdom and to serve the will of his Queen, Yavanna. He spent fifty-three years in battle, earned more scars to show, grew fiercer – but he won.

Now he has returned, but instead of smiles and cheers, he saw only ruin and people dressed in white gowns. Everything had changed. The Queen of Hearts was conquered, a new crown came, and with it, new rules. The people were divided into black and white, the impure and the pure. Amadeus was judged as black – a dangerous beast in need of taming or execution.

His victory now means nothing. To the new King, he is a relic of the old world. King Misendric subdued the people, but Amadeus will not submit to the new rules. The former hero has become a wanted villain, with thousands of gold pieces offered as a reward for his head.

WHAT IS THAT ETERNAL WAR?

Ahem, to start with here's the map to see:

The war was between Sodor and Lucar. It lasted fifty-three and a half years. It was called the Eternal War because, while it raged on, everything changed. Before the war, Sodor was ruled by Queen Yavanna, a wise elf elder who had sat on the throne for over two hundred years.

New King Misendric used the moment while the army was protecting the borders to raise a rebellion with his followers. He slaughtered the entire royal family and usurped the throne. The new king—called the Mad King—sowed ruin and division among his people by rewriting history and splitting society in half.
