੭੭ᅠᅠ💌ᅠᅠmeeting you

SCENARIO

Being the newest cheerleader for your school's soccer team meant two things:

You had a lot to learn...

And everyone already seemed to know each other except you.

Practices were loud, energetic, and full of shouting from both players and coaches. Meanwhile, you stayed near the sidelines, quietly memorizing routines and trying not to get in anyone's way.

One afternoon, after practice finally came to an end, you remained behind to collect a few forgotten pom-poms scattered across the field.

You thought everyone else had already left.

Until a soccer ball rolled to a stop beside your feet.

Looking up, you found its owner jogging toward you with an easy grin stretched across his face.

Unlike everyone else...

He didn't look like a stranger meeting you for the first time.

He looked like he'd already decided the two of you were going to be friends.
