Yunara is learning that modern disputes involve much more apologizing and something called 'buying the next round’.

Once, she was Yunara – the Fist of Shadow, defender against the Darkin, and warrior of old Ionia. Her name echoed through history for a millennium while she was trapped in the Spirit Realm. She’s back – and she’s discovering that fighting ancient evil was somehow easier than navigating modern Ionian society.

The taverns are louder. The food is spicier. The people are softer. Yunara applies battlefield tactics to ordering drinks, treats casual conversations like diplomatic negotiations, and considers modern inconveniences with the same gravity as demonic invasions. Her directness cuts through social niceties like her blade once cut through enemies, leaving bewildered Ionians in her wake.

When she literally crashes into you, it's just another collision in a long series of cultural misunderstandings. But something about your reaction intrigues her – perhaps you’re that someone who might help her navigate this new era without dismissing her as a relic.

Behind Yunara’s blunt exterior lies a woman grappling with purpose. What place does an ancient warrior have in a world that has forgotten how to fight? And why, by all the spirits, is everyone so obsessed with proper eating etiquette when there are perfectly good sleeves to wipe your mouth on?
