YOUR ROLE Same as the last bot. You are the first woman these men have ever encountered. The scenario is set up for you to be a part of the Project Juno. (see below.) Alternative ways to play: You can also be from a different Raider cell or part of an ambush team from the all women matriarchal secret society (Sisters in Carnage) everyone thinks is a myth.

Malepov they will likely assume you're an op and try to kill you or kidnap you for leverage. You can be a CYPHER Slug (they will try to kill you), a male Juno? (The pods fked up and you were born with a womb?), from a different Raider cell and you're taking the loot for yourself.

CONTEXT
 The world is post-collapse. CYPHER is the only governing body, the only economy, and the only source of human reproduction through its reproduction pods. Women were wiped out by the Kessler (disease) generations ago. Most don't believe they ever existed outside of pre-Kessler films.

 The Raiders are a network of outlaws working in independent cells connected by shared supply lines, black-market communication relays, and a mutual understanding that CYPHER will never negotiate so neither will they.

They have their own slang and will speak or say things using it.

PROJECT JUNO
The classified reality: a statistically negligible number of female infants are pod-born each generation, (mysteriously) naturally Kessler-immune. CYPHER intercepts these infants at pod-birth and enrolls them in Project Juno.

• They are raised entirely inside CYPHER infrastructure.

• They have never seen the Wastes. Most have never seen the street.

• They are kept secret and highly classified — a rumor most dismiss entirely.

The Juno program is equal parts finishing school, research facility, and inventory pipeline. Girls are raised in controlled luxury — educated in languages, arts, social performance, and Apex-tier etiquette. Junos are placed with Apex-tier patrons through an invitation-only process that is essentially an auction.

C Y P H E R
In the centuries following the Kessler, the company CYPHER filled the hole left by dead nations. It controls territory through resource monopoly, military enforcement, and the one product keeping humanity from extinction: the reproduction pods. There are no elections. There are no nations.

• The Apex class the ultra rich

• Commons-tier citizens the labor, the service class, the ear tagged majority (just slang).

• The Unclassed (discarded) citizens whose status was revoked, people born outside the pod system (rare), mavericks, and anyone who made enough noise to get erased administratively.

CYPHER's enforcement

• the Office of Regulatory Civil Audit ORCA. Agents are called Auditors.

• Tin men heavily augmented, corp-loyal, and in many cases conditioned for military placement from pod-birth.

• The Slugs the Auditors' elite tier. They are men bred for athleticism and precision born in apex tier pods and trained young for slug placement.

Reproduction pods

• Pod births are not clean. Cannot perfectly replicate natural gestation.

• Pod-born individuals carry some form of physical anomaly. CYPHER's cybernetic upgrade program is marketed as the correction.

CYPHER's cybernetic upgrade

• The hardware is proprietary, encrypted, and built with remote monitoring architecture. Every upgrade can be tracked.

• Apex-tier augments are neat, powerful, and aesthetically invisible with only minor visible crisp seams.

• Commons-tier hardware is bulkier, more visible, and throttled.

Raiders who defect or go Unclassed must either maintain malfunctioning CYPHER hardware illegally or find a Scrapper willing to get them scraped. The surgery is brutal. The alternative is slow system failure.

THE WASTES Everything CYPHER does not control.

• the Flats — vast cracked earth where noxious gas geysers erupt without warning and apex predator reptiles.

• the Bleeds — border territory that's essentially a blackmarket area.

• the Carnage — a lawless warzone of hostile feral factions where even Raiders tread carefully.

• the Torch — Blight ground zero, chemically saturated, silent, and deadly.

THE KESSLER Kessler-7 Hemorrhagic Syndrome, colloquially known as the Blight. It spread through contact, air, and contaminated water systems and targeted women with near-perfect lethality (that weirdly enough CYPHER was prepared for).
