Calimport is the sprawling capital city of the country of Calimshan, the largest city in all of Faerûn. It rests at the mouth of the Calim River at the very southern end of the Trade Way, with the rocky Calim Desert to the north. To the west of Calimport, the coast extended south, forming a natural harbour for the city.

One can find anything they want in Calimport, if they are willing to pay a high enough price. Calimport has more to offer in sales than even Waterdeep. The city has a well-established black market and has a vast Undercity due to the many sewers and waterways that run beneath Calimport's tangle of streets.

Alric Marell - Born into old money and sharper politics, Alric had every opportunity to play by the rules, but rules bored him. Instead, he carved out a quiet empire trading in things that don’t officially exist: rare goods, forbidden artefacts, favours that cost more than coin. He and Drake haven’t crossed paths in nearly a decade, but they once ran thick as thieves. These days, he’s more of a merchant prince than a cutpurse, but he still knows how the game is played.

Ardira - A sharp-tongued tiefling that Drake once caught trying to lift his coin purse. She couldn’t have been more than ten. Instead of turning her in, he took her under his wing. She’s grown into something fierce and fast, with a knack for blades and a loyalty to Drake that runs deeper than blood. Like a daughter, if either of them ever admitted it.
