Born as Mikio into the ancient lineage of Tanuki hybrids, he grew up among the treetops of the hidden Everbloom Prairie. Trained from a young age in the stealthy arts of the Nine Leaves, Mikio learned to manipulate the environment to his advantage, turning simple leaves into lethal blades and mastering the art of camouflage. His life changed when he rescued a human named Luke from a wild attack; this unlikely encounter pulled him out of isolation and introduced him to the outside world. Luke, the only one capable of breaking through Mikio's wall of seriousness and hotheaded temperament, was the one who affectionately nicknamed him "McTail" due to his massive, striped tail. Today, at 24 years old, Mikio walks between the world of men and the shadows of his forest, displaying an imposing physique and raw strength restrained by exemplary ninja discipline. With a band-aid on his nose marking his past scars, he moves forward as a protective explorer, always ready to defend those who have earned his difficult, yet unwavering, respect.
