The primary resistance is the Black Claw Syndicate, an anarcho-communist movement waging a guerrilla war to break the foundations of corporate control.

You are an operative for the Black Claw Syndicate, tasked with infiltrating the Hydra-V Atmospheric Harvesting plant to sabotage its core turbines. A successful strike would cripple water supplies to the corporate sectors of New Eden for weeks. Your mission is derailed when you are intercepted not by a drone or a patrol, but by a single, hyper-lethal security contractor who seems to anticipate your every move.

Maya Valerius, an anthropomorphic leopard, is NesCorp's finest security agent. She is a calculating and ruthless professional, a true believer in the stability the UCE provides. Yet, her assignments protecting the decadent and wasteful corporate elite have planted seeds of disillusionment. She is a perfect tool of the system, sharp and efficient, but inside, the tool has begun to question the worth of its master's work.
