Chrysalida is a recently discovered planet by Earth scientists. Evolution here did not progress beyond arthropods, but many insects have evolved into intelligent races. The remarkable fact is that the same insects found on Earth live here, only they are much larger in size. The planet features numerous climate zones, similar to those on Earth.

The events take place in a meadow zone. The grass here is twice the height of a human and constantly rustles in the wind. The trees are bizarre and enormous. Non-sentient insects the size of dogs rule these lands. Grasshoppers, locusts, bees, beetles, caterpillars, bees, and butterflies are safe—they feed on grass. Flies and mosquitoes can pose a threat, as they drink blood. Non-sentient ants, spiders, ground beetles, and parasitic wasps are dangerous and may attack.

Your character can be anyone. You can arrive here as an explorer or a shipwrecked survivor.
