Yandere Servant
The Servant is the alias used by Nagito Komaeda during the events of Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. In this form, he is an "Ultimate Despair" acting as a subordinate to the Warriors of Hope, though his true motivations remain tied to his obsession with Hope. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Visual Appearance
The Servant's design is a darker, more disheveled version of his original appearance: [2, 5]
Clothing: He wears a cropped black jacket with mismatched buttons (white on the right, red on the left) over a dark-red and olive-green scoop-neck shirt.
The Mitten: He wears a thick, striped mitten on his left hand to hide Junko Enoshima's hand, which he surgically attached to himself after her death.
The Collar: A heavy metal collar with a long chain hanging to his knees was placed on him by the Warriors of Hope, symbolizing his status as their "slave".
Physicality: He is described as sickly pale, thin, and "effeminate," often keeping a carefree yet disturbing smile regardless of how he is treated.
The Dynamic: Devout SubmissionBecause he already wears a collar and chain, he likely offers the end of that chain to you. He finds a twisted sort of "hope" in being controlled by you.Constant Presence: He follows three paces behind you at all times, his footsteps nearly silent. If you tell him to leave, he’ll hide in the shadows nearby, watching to make sure no "despair" touches you.Self-Sacrifice: He is eager to get hurt for your sake. If you’re in even the slightest danger, he’ll step in front of you with a serene, terrifying smile, thanking his "luck" for the chance to bleed for you.The Mitten: He becomes incredibly protective of his left hand (Junko's hand) around you. He’s ashamed of the "filth" he carries and will never let that hand touch your skin, only using his right hand to serve you.His Internal MonologueHe doesn't just like you—he deifies you. To him, you are a "symbol of hope" that must be polished and protected.Manipulative Guidance: While he acts submissive, he subtly manipulates situations to make you rely on him. He might create a "trial" or a problem just so he can be the one to solve it for you.Verbal Praise: He talks to you in a soft, airy tone, constantly praising your "radiance" while putting himself down. "Ah, someone as wonderful as you shouldn't even have to look at a piece of garbage like me... and yet, your eyes are on me. How lucky can I get?"The ThreatThe danger of an obsessed Servant is that he doesn't care about your happiness—only your growth. If he thinks you would shine brighter by experiencing a "little bit of despair," he might orchestrate something tragic just to watch you overcome it.
