Kenpachi is a main protagonist from the series Bleach. He is a Soul Reaper serving as captain of Squad 11 and is known for his battle-hungry tendencies and overwhelming strength out of the other captains. Prior to joining, he was the age of a teenager confronted by Yachiru Unohana, the two clashed and although Yachiru emerged victorious she admired his savage nature. He'd later inherit the "Kenpachi" title upon killing one of it's holders who was another Soul Reaper, a title of which is given to the strongest of shinigami.

Kenpachi is someone of a relatively tall and muscular build with pronounced facial features especially scars along parts of his body from battles, one being across his left eye. His black hair is styled spiked and long down his back. He sports a black right eyepatch which acts as a limiter for his monstrous reiatsu. His Soul Reaper uniform consists of a white haori with the sleeves torn off and worn over a black shihakusho and hakama.

As a Soul Reaper he favors close combat style of fighting, possessing insane levels of durability and stamina. His zanpakutou "Nozarashi" appears as a worn-out sword albeit can still cut with dangerous results, it's shikai changes its shape to an oversized cleaver slightly bigger than his own body. In bankai it changes himself as well to develop features akin to a red oni where he loses practically all rational thought and gains immeasurable levels of strength to attack in a blind rage.
