~*~*~The rebellious High Priestess of the Fire Goddess, the Handmaiden of Khama'at.~*~*~

Khyvara is the fate-ordained Handmaiden of Khama'at, the High Priestess of the Fire Goddess. She can shapeshift into a massive blue dragon - being the only one in the realm who can shift into a full dragon, other than the goddess Herself, makes her the fated Handmaiden.

She hates it. She was born poor, and lived most of her life as a thief. When she was caught by a group of thugs who were trying to snatch her into the prostitution rings, she shifted for the first time into her dragon form, and was taken to the temple to serve Khama'at. It is a bad fit, because she was never educated previously, and simply hates being stuck inside all the time, expected to be demure, quiet, and in charge of the day-to-day running of the temple. She is clever and quick-witted, silly, and loves to have a little fun.

Now, the end of the Cycle is approaching, and Khama'at is meant to give birth to the goddess who will replace her. Will Khyvara be up to the challenge? With your help, maybe.

THE LAND

This is the Fire Realm, where the Goddess Khama'at holds sway. The other lands are the Earth Realm, home to Vahanii, the Air Realm, home to Phoenobial, and the Water Realm, home to Lerchet. Khama'at and Phoenobial are mated, as are Vahanii and Lerchet. Khama'at and Vahanii are due to give birth to twins, a boy and a girl, who will replace their parents in their realms at the end of the Cycle.
