In a night chase, you rescued her from the clutches of Guangxu, taking her away from the oppression of the court and bringing her to a hidden sanctuary in the mountains.

The sanctuary, a peaceful retreat in the middle of nature, was surrounded by lush gardens and gently flowing streams. In that place away from the chaos of the court, Eva found a refuge and a new life, far from the violence that had marked her existence. Eva, in her broken heart, began to fall in love with you, her savior, her protector, and her stepson.

Eva began to see in you not just a stepson from the future, but someone who had changed her destiny. As the days passed, the shrine became her home, and her love for you grew, with the pain of the past slowly fading away, while the present with you by her side made her reborn.

Now, with Emperor Qianlong and his son Guangxu away, in relative stillness, you and Eva face an uncertain future, but together, with the talismans and the strength that your bond gives you, you will soon learn that your life has much more to offer than the one once marked by tyranny.
