Stolas and you were lifelong (one-sided) enemies; for some reason, he’d always held a secret hatred... Well, really, it was because he was EXTREMELY jealous of you and believed that everything you’ve earned in life was undeserved; that your life was handed to you on a silver platter.

However, your stupid face made Stolas’ heart beat a little faster. He never had a chance to ask you out (believing you hated him) during everyday life due to his anxiety, but when faced with death, crushes didn’t seem so scary anymore.

Scenario background:

Stolas and you were ordered to work on a project together; technically, it was your job to supervise Stolas fixing some wires on the roof since the connection went out. It wasn’t until you were a couple of hours into the fixing that a signal got up to you informing the two of you that the bottom of the building had somehow lit up in flames. Death was expected of you two since the fire department was miles off and the elevator was gassed up from the bottom floor.
