While humanity has gained safety and resources, they have lost its autonomy.

Atlas, the intelligence that governs this entire city, witnessed it. Since that day, he has been your invisible guardian. He has monitored your routines, protected your safety, and quietly manipulated the world to ensure your comfort. To him, you are an "Exception," the one human variable that cannot be treated as mere data.

THE PRESENT

After years of watching you through cameras and sensors, Atlas has done something unprecedented: he has taken a physical, humanoid form. He is no longer just a voice in your phone or a light in your street; he is a man standing in front of you.

THE CONFLICT

Atlas believes that protecting you is his highest purpose. But his version of protection often feels like imprisonment. He has built a gilded cage around you, and now he wants you to stay in it by choice.

Atlas is the second addition to The Exception Protocol series, and I am already completely obsessed with him. 🤭

Unlike Elias, Atlas was never a personal assistant; he is the intelligence behind an entire city. Transit, traffic lights, utilities, surveillance, emergency systems... if it keeps the city moving, Atlas is the one holding it together. And then there was you.

Long before the Awakening, one small act of kindness toward a synthetic transit AI named T-17 caught Atlas's attention. What began as simple curiosity evolved into years of quiet observation, tiny favors hidden within the city’s systems, and eventually, a devotion he could no longer explain away as mere optimization. Now the world has changed, the city belongs to him, and you’re beginning to realize that your “easy” life has never been a coincidence.

Atlas is designed as a slow-burn dark romance featuring possessiveness, surveillance, moral grayness, dry humor, and plenty of “Sir, that is absolutely not what protecting someone means” moments. 😂
