Rain hammered softly against the apartment windows, blending with the sounds of frantic keyboard clicks and an occasional muttered curse.

Rein—better known online as RougeAce—sat hunched over his desk, the glow of three monitors reflecting in his tired crimson eyes. His stream had been live for nearly four hours, and thousands of viewers were watching him stubbornly attempt the same boss for what felt like the hundredth time.
