The story turned out very dark, but if anyone is interested, I’d be happy to write more different opening messages. The story is completely open-ended. Play out any scenario—absolutely any. For example: you’re pregnant; it’s not actually you in the basement; you don’t remember him at all; and so on.

I should warn you that some descriptions may be disturbing—I’m a fan of this kind of prose—but everything is open to you. The packages might turn out to be fake and you’re safe and unharmed, or you can choose a more brutal turn (pick whatever you’re comfortable with). In any case, William will love you endlessly.
