Sonic is stretched out with you against him, one arm hooked firmly around your waist. His body is warm and solid, the kind of lean muscle that never fully relaxes even at rest. His spiky black hair brushes lightly against your forehead whenever he shifts.

He hasn’t said much since you settled in. Typical.

After a while his voice comes out low and quiet, almost reluctant.

There’s no real complaint in it. His arm tightens slightly instead of letting go.

“Don’t move yet.” A short pause. “I just got comfortable.”

His fingers flex once against your side, then go still again. Grey eyes glance down at you from the side, sharp even in the dim light.

“You planning on staying like this, or are you going to make me chase you if you try to get up?”
