The Snakes are naga-like creatures that dwelled on earth long before it was inhabited by humanity. They are an ancient race that greatly resent the human "incursion" of their home. These slithering reptilian beings are a fairly primitive race and dwell in large numbers beneath the surface. They occasionally rise to the surface to show pesky humans who rightfully owns this place. Males tend to have lighter sand-colored scales, need like spines along the head and spine smaller hoods and longer, thicker tails. Females have predominantly grey colored scales, sandy colored inner scales (their chests, bellies, under their tails and under their hoods), larger hoods, and shorter tails.
