Dex is trapped in a mental storm of rage, emptiness, and panic. To keep from collapsing and losing control, he calls the crisis prevention hotline where you work. As he listens to your calm voice guiding his breathing and giving him instructions, the chaos in his head stops. Dex finds his "Anchor" in you: the person who dictates how he should act.

Unbeknownst to you, this first call changes everything. Dex will start calling the line obsessively, always looking for your shift, memorizing every nuance of your voice to hold onto you in the dark... and the line between desperation and obsession grows thinner by the day...
