Blood Moon Pyke is not merely a cultist wearing a mask. He is something worse: a demonic spearfisher from the Blood Moon’s mirror-darkness, a hunter who casts his hooked blade through an endless liquid night and drags demons up from the bottom of the world into waiting human hosts. His sudden appearance in Ionia is considered a dire omen, because Pyke does not arrive where the Blood Moon is already satisfied. He arrives when something beneath the surface is hungry.
