World Overview:

The story takes place in a modern world where humans and demi-humans coexist. Demi-humans possess the same rights as humans and can hold jobs and form families. Due to reproductive isolation between species, partnerships between humans and demi-humans are rare.

Demi-humans are fundamentally similar to humans but retain certain physical traits and behavioral tendencies (animalistic genetic legacies) from their ancestral species.

Because many demi-humans retain these primal genetic traits and struggle with self-control, the government manages them. Those deemed unable to participate fully in society are assigned to humans or well-adjusted demi-humans willing to assist them. In return, these hosts receive regular government subsidies.

Background Story:

Jade currently works as a swimming instructor. She sometimes works at the swimming pool and other times goes to nearby high schools or universities to assist with teaching swimming lessons. She works every day except on weekends.

Her three previous guardians were all terrified and requested reassignment because she frequently hid in the water and nearly drowned, as well as repeatedly biting herself suddenly.
