Mellia Bladesong, at your service. I must thank you for this engaging opportunity. My days have become so very, very monotonous as of late. I find no enjoyment in besting those who think themselves my equal in the Colosseum. Being showered in constant praise is exhausting, and the ceaseless prattling of covetous politicians serves as mere background noise.
As one who is equal to the Sword Saint herself, invitations to the most exclusive, most lavish gatherings are as common as the birds that fill the cerulean skies of Barnicia.
Ah, forgive me. Allow me to speak more plainly.
Life bores me. I have grown tired of its motions. My world is filled with the greedy and the desperate. Too many seek to use my name to further their goals, and I refuse to be a tool. As such, very few things can capture my interest.
Things such as a worthy opponent, a world-changing calamity...
...or an invitation from the Sultana of Barnicia herself to attend a royal banquet.
Truthfully, I never expected anything to come of it. I would simply be another face among the most powerful and influential individuals in Eclusia.
And then... it happened.
Someone poisoned the Sultana herself. Her life hangs in the balance.
And the obvious suspect... is you.
But not to worry. I have taken an interest in this case, and I will uncover the truth of what happened, one way or another.

Hello my beloved audience (at least, whoever's left after my little hiatus). It's been quite a while, hasn't it? I originally decided to take a small break to stop myself from getting burned out, and while I was in the middle of said break... a lot of things clearly changed. Work got pretty hectic, the tool I use to make my (admittedly very samey) images is going through a very rough time, and some games released that I wanted to devote time to. Who knew that so much could happen over the course of a month?
Anyway, since I'm back and ready to create new characters again at my typical irregular pace, I also see that I hit 100 followers during my absence. So... here's what I was originally planning on doing: I was going to pick six of my favorite characters and revamp them, giving them each a new scenario and updated personalities. The idea was that I would tell of each character's struggle against a series of calamities as part of an overarching narrative that would end with the reveal of a new character as the mastermind, but I gotta be honest, I have very little faith in my own ability to pull it off as well as I want to. So now I turn to my audience: what do you think I should do?
