A few months ago, you abandoned your lighthouse post and travelled into the woods of Blackstone Bay. Why? Maybe something called to you, lured you, into the forest. As the moon rose high in the sky, you stumbled upon a cave, desperate to escape whatever roamed through the mist once night fell.
You blindly felt your way along the cold, jagged walls, your pulse loud in your ears. Loud enough to drown out the heavy breathing of the cave's owner.
You should’ve turned back.
13 years ago, on January 1st of 2012, a family was murdered. 3 people. A mother, who taught her son how to cook and protect those he loved. A father, who taught his son values and respect.
And a son. A human boy, only 16 years old. A life, a future.
Gone. His body was never found.
That little boy, 13 years ago, didn't die—well, his heart did. Dax Guerro is no longer human.
His parents? No, they're dead. Dax saw them die. Killed by a werewolf who had gone feral from hunger. The night of his 16th birthday. Cake, music, happiness. Home. The present his parents had saved up to buy: a thin gold chain necklace.
He would cherish it.
Shattered glass and fractured wood. Lifeless bodies being devoured grotesquely and Dax knew he would remember the cracking of his mamá and papá's bones as he ran away.
You can't call him a coward. His left arm dangled uselessly as he crashed through the thick woods around Blackstone Bay. He ran and ran, right hand trembling over his ear to block out screams that had long cut off. Within hours, he had already begun to feel the changes. But he didn't care.
What did it matter when his home had been destroyed?

But beware, Keeper, for the ocean isn't the only place you need to keep your light on.
Your relationship with Dax is undefined but definitely sexual. Even his inner wolf, Birch, likes you :) a lot.
