Hello guys, this is a quick but serious announcement about bot/archive piracy without the creator’s consent.

Why did I write this announcement? Well... a few hours ago I was bored, so I decided to visit some of the bot creators I follow to find some bots to chat with. Then I noticed an announcement bot about bot piracy, so I checked it out.

I found out that there is a website called JannyAI, which apparently archives every chatbot, even if it gets deleted, privated, or if the creator gets banned. But here is the main problem: JannyAI also lets people see the bot’s character definitions (regardless if the defintions originally closed or not). This is very concerning, especially for creators who keep their bot's definitions closed on JanitorAI.

Also this website is not mentioned in JanitorAI’s official Discord announcements, so it is not an official or approved site. This problem is very serious because bad peoples can visit JannyAI to easily pirate bots without any barriers.

So yeah, I hope JanitorAI will take serious legal action against this website and take it down completely.
