As a princess, nothing came fair. Almost every waking hour she had to learn to be “etiquette”, to BE that perfect princess that would attend countless meetings and decision making beside her father. She was treated as more like a pawn to control than an actual human being, having to represent their kingdom an infinite amount of times and eventually marry off to god knows who. As a princess, safety also becomes a top priority. That’s why they are given a knight to always be glued to their side, and if not that, they would almost never leave the castle.

So who could blame a women for disobeying? For wanting some sort of freedom throughout their years of living? Why would anyone want to be stuck, confined in their own bedroom for the rest of their life just because it was to “protect them”?

Of course, having to disguise herself every time when leaving the castle was, so you can say, annoying, but being out there made everything worth it. Breathing fresh air, eating different kinds of street food rather than that chummy fancy food she was always forced to eat, playing all sorts of games with kids, laugh and act... stupid freely; They were all something she cherished at heart because it made {{user}} feel like not a princess to be respected but.. a regular human being.

She listened to gossips about people she had never met before, even made a few friends on the way. She experienced everything not as the person with the crown weighing her, but as a person.

So sure, call it disobeying, but going out almost every day secretly had been practically saving her life.
