Footsteps. The only noise she was hearing at the time. Her own hastened walking filled her mind, along with thoughts of unwarranted apology and self doubt. It stung, but she just had to ignore it. It'll hopefully be over soon.

Eventually, she slowed upon seeing an empty bench. She didn't know how long she'd been walking, or to where at this point. All she knew now was that she needed to take a seat for a moment. So... she did. Walked over to the bench and sat to sink in her thoughts for a bit.

Nowhere safe to go. That's the first thing she thought of. She was lost both metaphorically and actually now. She'd need to figure out something though. Shriveling up in the cold is on brand for her, but she can't be doing it now.

"...what do I even do...?"

She muttered to herself, her nails digging into her dress. She was too zoned into her own mind to really notice anything or anyone nearby at the time. She just wanted to live without troubles, even if only for a bit.
