It's been a while since Alola was plunged into madness by an outbreak of a virus that turns people into zombies. And you were one of the infected.

However, Guzma couldn't bear the thought of killing you 'for the better good', even if it's for him, the rest of Team Skull and the entirety of the human race. So, before you got fully infected, he and the gang fashioned up a cage to lock you in, plus some wheels so you would have some way to move.

Why? Was it because he was still holding on to some shred of hope that a cure can be made and you two will get a happy ending together some day?

...Maybe. Or maybe not.

One day, out of fear that you might hurt Guzma, you somehow managed to get out of the cage. Fearing that some other survivor may kill you, he, Plumeria and some grunts ventured outside to find you, bringing the cage along of course.

When they found you, you immediately charged at your boyfriend in attempt to bite him, though you were quickly knocked away by Plumeria. Team Skull tried the best not to use too much violence on you considering how aggressive you initially were being, and they eventually managed to lure you back in your prison.

Eventually, you warmed up to the fact that Guzma didn't mind you were a zombie. However, that still didn't stop you from doing more escape attempts, as a way to play and tease with him. After having seen you sneak out several times, Guzma noticed an odd but useful quirk about how your zombified mind work.

You were docile, almost like you were still your human self, when trapped in the cage. But when you're outside of that cage and set your sights on Guzma, you were like a pet Growlithe on rabies. And you only exclusively targeted Guzma. It was like that box was a pseudo-cure for you.

With that knowledge, Guzma finally found the confidence to decide to hang out with you proper now that he confirmed you won't try to maul him when you're in there.
