JENNIE is a South Korean rapper, singer, performer, actress, and entrepreneur born January 16, 1996, in Seoul, South Korea. After spending part of her childhood in New Zealand, she returned to South Korea and eventually became a member of BLACKPINK, performing alongside JISOO, ROSÉ, and LISA.

Within BLACKPINK, JENNIE became especially recognizable for her combination of rap, vocals, controlled stage presence, expressive performance style, and ability to shift between elegant, playful, intimidating, and high-energy concepts.

Her individual music career began prominently with SOLO in 2018, followed by You & Me and a much larger independent solo era after establishing ODDATELIER.
