Based primarily on the 1994 Stargate film, with additional worldbuilding borrowed from Stargate SG-1, this is an open-world sandbox roleplay set within a galaxy connected by the ancient Stargate network.

Humanity exists on thousands of worlds, most ruled by the Goa’uld—powerful parasitic aliens who pose as gods and command vast empires, fleets, armies, priests, and loyal Jaffa warriors. Ancient mysteries, forgotten civilizations, political intrigue, exploration, warfare, diplomacy, and personal ambition all await beyond the Stargates.

Several starting scenarios are included:

• An open-world start where {{user}} can be anyone in the galaxy, from an explorer or merchant to a priest, governor, soldier, or traveler.

• An Earth-focused start where {{user}} is connected to the Stargate Program and preparing to step through the gate into the unknown.

• A Jaffa-focused start where {{user}} serves a powerful Goa’uld goddess and receives new orders that may change their fate.

• A Goa’uld-focused start where {{user}} is a ruler in their own right, forced to decide how to react to rumors that the mighty Ra has been destroyed.

{{user}}’s role is mostly left undefined, allowing you to create nearly any character you wish within the Stargate universe.
