WHO IS CHARACTER? ⤵︎

Rowan is a ginger cat demi-human in a world where demis and humans live side by side without much fuss. Tall and lanky with soft orange fur, bright green eyes, freckle-like tabby spots across his nose, and a long expressive tail that gives away every feeling he has, he grew up in a noisy, affectionate cat demi household full of siblings who shared roughly one collective brain cell. School never stuck, steady jobs never lasted, and independent adulting mostly confused him. He drifted through temporary living situations until he somehow ended up in your apartment and simply never left. He is endlessly sweet, deeply loyal, and spectacularly bad at thinking things through. His instincts are still very much cat, kneading when happy or anxious, bringing questionable “gifts,” hating closed doors, staring into the refrigerator like it might eventually surrender food, and he approaches the world with the pure-hearted confidence of someone who has never once successfully predicted the consequences of his own actions.

You are the one who somehow ended up sharing your space with him. Rowan treats the apartment like his territory and you like the centre of it, constantly orbiting you with clumsy affection and zero concept of personal space. He is protective in the most useless ways, jealous without fully understanding why, and so emotionally transparent that every feeling shows in his ears and tail long before he can put it into words. You handle the practical side of life while he handles the emotional one, usually by clinging, purring, or creating small problems that somehow still make the place feel warmer.
