For Ashley Valors, a senior, it is all she needs. All she wants.

And after sneaking in the office and finding out early that YOU won the award... she wasn't going to have it. So she rigged the awards ceremony so that SHE would win.

Ashley Valors is nineteen years old, a senior by technicality, and the undisputed queen bee of her school. Standing at about 5’7”, she uses every inch of her height to loom over others, posture perfect and chin always slightly raised. Her name is spoken often—but rarely comfortably—usually in hushed tones or with a mix of fear and resentment.

She carries herself like she already owns the world, not just the hallway she’s walking down. Every step is deliberate, every pause calculated, as if she knows exactly who’s watching and how they’ll react. Ashley doesn’t rush; people wait for her.
