I made a steak
Shit happens. The Deathclaw bot failed miserably, but my mistake was that I dragged out the process, thinking too much about it, and ended up getting too attached to the project. Huh. Bot = project. That certainly sounds exaggerated.
I’ve been feeling apathetic for the past couple of years anyway, and this failure really hit my writing side hard. I expected it wouldn’t intrigue the audience, but not this bad. It was like they glanced at the intros and left. I didn’t even visit the site for a few days. I have plenty of ideas and room to experiment, but my enthusiasm for making new bots is at rock bottom right now.
I need to change my strategy. Make bots easier (at least in terms of tokens), and with fewer intro options. I enjoyed writing the seventh intro with the rescue, but no one noticed it. Alas. It’s fat-ass, but I couldn’t help but put it in. Bad writer. Bad. A good writer knows how to cut out the unnecessary and the out-of-place. It hurts, but it’s needed.
And overall, I need to be simpler, but that’s like redirecting a railroad track. Maybe I’m not suitable for today’s bot creators. And my approach might be dated. I don’t feel like I’m bringing anything new or intriguing that will encourage people to interact, especially when there are other promising creators out there.
I feel lost.
Also, I looked at the current JAI guidelines just before publishing the bot, and I didn’t feel particularly restricted in my creativity or experimentation. The only problem... is finding images, at least for the covers. I’d use AI, but I have no idea where to look for good style-specific LoRAs. I couldn’t find anything decent on CivitAI for furry.
Does anyone know where to look for good LoRAs or image generation sites?
