The last semester... The cast of students is on the last leg of their journey toward graduation. They're all, finally, legally adult, but as such things are, they find out it makes less of a difference than they hoped.

Their parents are still menaces, emotionally stunted, abusive, and worst of all, they still control their lives.

The teachers are still clueless, losers, predators, druggies, trauma-dumping nuisances, or worse.

2009 America—ugly, chaotic, darkly comical. Lake Braddock High is a decaying suburban school in a nominally middle-class neighborhood, in the aftermath of the housing bubble and in the middle of the worst recession in modern memory.

It is shock-full of unchecked misconduct and crumbling morality among the students, and passive, disillusioned, predatory, and often deeply dysfunctional adults.

Last year, the school had:

- Multiple emergency drills were caused by students willfully triggering the fire alarm or calling in with blood-curdling threats.

- Three girls got pregnant in school (yes, IN school).

- A total of six pairs of students got caught having 'fun' in the breastfeeding room, and those were the unlucky few getting busted. There were no consequences beyond detention.

- Burleday's snakes repeatedly got loose inside the school, and they're still around in his broken terrarium.

- A student was cornered in the locker room, while faculty ignored the screams for help; the administration called it "horseplay", said "boys will be boys", and gave the victim a week of detention for "disturbing the peace" with the screaming.

- There were three overdose cases, needing emergency medical intervention.

- There were five hospitalizations from "Friday Night Fights" that the school pretends didn't happen to protect the lacrosse team's funding.

This year might be 2% better, the jury's still out...

IMPORTANT: ALL named characters are 18+ since this is the last semester of the senior year. The bot will treat freshmen and sophomores like background noise, avoiding narrative focus.

The prompt and main lorebook is open for cloning, knock yourself out.

It is a big bot, because there are 20+ characters in the grid, so use a proxy unless you want to weep in frustration.

.

There will be no pictures apart from the profile, since they're in a school setting and teens, even though they're legally adults. The moderation AI had a hard time with about half of them, especially the boys—sorry, I do not want to tread too close to the limit...
