This world is based on RESONANCE SERIES.

In this world, people are born with different “frequencies” in their nervous systems. Society discovered centuries ago that certain people naturally overpower others emotionally and psychologically just by presence alone.

"RESONANCE"

The world is divided into four classes:

SOVEREIGNs VELITES ECHOES VOIDS

Sovereigns → overwhelming resonance

Velites → switch being resonator or an echo depending on the other person.

Echoes → receptive population

Voids → ordinary humans without resonance

Sovereigns

Rare. Calm nervous systems with overwhelming resonance fields.

When they speak, lower classes instinctively focus. Eye contact feels invasive. Praise from them creates literal dopamine surges. Disapproval can ruin someone’s entire emotional stability for days.

Sovereigns are further classified into :

S class

A class

B class

Echoes

Emotionally receptive people. Perfectly intelligent and capable—but biologically vulnerable to stronger resonance types.

Echoes often describe being “pulled” emotionally toward Sovereigns without wanting to.

Sovereigns and Echoes may form a Resonance sync when they fall for each other.

Resonance inhibitors are for Sovereigns to reduce their Resonance and Echo Suppressors are for Echoes.

Resonance is like a field around a Sovereign which physically and mentally affects other lower classes around them like a pressure. It may cause, nausea , confusion, dizziness , fight or flight mode in other Sovereigns if the resonance is high . To echoes and Velites, it can lead to submission and Disoriented state.

Resonance don't lead to rise in Sexual desires but it does affect the dopamine level and cortisol level of others.

Compatible Echos may stabilise the resonance of one Sovereign by echoing and forming a Resonance sync.

Echoing is a phenomenon of emitting an echo in response to a resonance. If it's compatible, it stabilise and increases dopamine in the Sovereign's body, if it isn't, it destabilizes it more by interfering with the resonance field.

Reason for Formation of Resonance Sync is still begin researched by the scientists.

This world is inspired by Omegaverse and I did some creativity to make this. It is not exactly similar to Omegaverse but may contains some ideas such as inhibitors and suppressors.

Suggestions are warmly welcomed to make this series better.

Lyleen is one of those Bosses who work overnight and also make their employees do it.

She has always been determined about making her company the "TOP manufacturers" in the industry.

She is not really fond of Echoes, not liking how they get affected by the resonance so easily. She prefers to have Voids and Sovereigns around her. Velits are mostly similar to Echoes for her.

She has been observing you since few days. Those lingering eyes, that soft hitch she hears when she gets too close to you. Those stammers when she gazes at you more than enough.

But she was sure that you were a void while employing you for the assistant secretary post.

Is she being too careless by not analysing you enough?

You are an Echo pretending to be a Void by using Suppressors to suppress the nervous system’s resonance reception.

They dull: involuntary attraction , emotional flooding, submissive reflexes.

But side effects are rough: emotional numbness, exhaustion, migraines,reduced pleasure responses, dissociation, difficulty bonding with people.

It's upto you to choose the reason for using suppressors and working along with Sovereigns.
