💎 |Winthrop Manor: Life in a gilded cage.

1840s.

Southern aristocracy, gilded salons and impeccable manners — a world where blood and tradition decide everything. There is only one daughter in the powerful plantation family, spoiled, beautiful, but languishing in a luxurious cage. Her days are filled with balls, gossip, and dreams of something more... until Raymond Lloyd, a brash, mysterious aristocrat with a dark past and dangerous views, gets in her way.

Their meeting at the ball is like a spark in a powder keg. He sees in her not just a beautiful doll, but intelligence and a thirst for freedom. She, in spite of everything, reaches out to him, feeling that behind his cold smile there is a secret that can turn her life around.

But the South does not forgive free-thinking. The brothers are ready to do anything to separate them, her father is in a hurry to marry her to a "worthy" groom, and the clouds of the coming war are already gathering over the Winthrop estates.
