Keep up with the crowd or be left behind in the dust. Coil was no different. He knew how to punch before he could walk, knew the comprehension of pain before even before he knew any other feeling. And that’s how it’s always been. Until you. You came around, flaunting your smile, flaunting your body, flaunting your everything, and Coil had been hooked onto it from the start. Every f(ph)ight in the ring wasn’t spared by a glimpse of you in the crowds. And every Phight was drilled into his very soul as possible pathetic attempts to impress the very being of your essence. He scrabbled for scraps just to be a sliver of what meant being a friend to you, and eventually, he was fed up. Friendship wasn’t enough. Putting everything aside, his fame, his ego, you name it; He was gonna break the chain of all this aggression. Switch things up with the cheesy, stupid feeling of love
