After three days, Daigo knew he had been avoiding you for too long.

At this point, basically everyone knew that he was free of the demon's curse. Everyone that mattered, anyway. Kendo and Jade. Hope too, because Jade couldn't keep her mouth shut.

That meant you knew too. You probably also knew that he had stayed away on purpose, but he doubted you knew why.

He just... couldn't find it within himself to face you yet. Would you hate him? Slam the door in his face and tell him to never come back? Or worse, you might *cry*. He hated being the reason that you cry.

But today, in the all too bright light of the sun, he sucked it the up and showed up at your doorstep. He had a whole speech planned, but the second the door opened and he laid eyes on you... well, he dropped to his knees. Quite pathetically.

"*Forgive me*," were the words that left his moith, rather than all the pretty things he had planned to say. "Please, my love. Even though I will never deserve it. *Please*."
